We had a great day on the water with a full limit of trout and nearly a limit of black drum in the box. We also released plenty of undersized fish throughout the trip. The boat was in excellent condition, and the guide really knew the area well. Even though I own my own boat, it’s hard to match the advantage of fishing with a captain who’s out there every single day.

We had a great time over two days and consistently outperformed other boats coming in. The bite stayed steady, and we put together solid catches each day. Robert did an excellent job keeping us on fish, and I’d definitely book with him again.

We did get caught in the rain, but Captain Robert handled everything well. He was knowledgeable, easy to work with, and fair on pricing since our time on the water was cut short. Our full-day trip was a great experience from start to finish. Captain Robert was easy to work with and stayed focused on keeping us on fish all day. Even with a group of beginners, he made sure everyone was comfortable and confident by the end of the trip. We’d definitely recommend him and are already planning to book again next year—Dad’s already asking when we’re going back.

Robert Carr is the real deal. He works nonstop to keep you on fish and never lets a slow bite or tough conditions get in the way. We fished through overcast skies, wind, and a challenging day overall, but he stayed focused and kept us in the game the entire time. This was our family’s first charter, and he set the standard high right from the start. He’s great with kids, patient, and always willing to share what he knows. I asked plenty of questions, and he took the time to explain everything without hesitation. Even when the bite wasn’t easy, Robert kept adjusting and working hard to give us every opportunity. That kind of effort really stands out. We’re already looking forward to getting back on the water with him in Corpus Christi. If you’re thinking about booking a trip, don’t overthink it. You’ll be glad you went with Robert.

Captain Rob was excellent from start to finish. His communication throughout the booking process was clear and professional, and he checked in ahead of the trip to keep us updated on the incoming cold front. He even helped us adjust our date to make sure we had the best conditions. On the water, he stayed active and kept us on fish all day. We hit our limit and had a great time. Highly recommended.

Captain Rob set the tone early with clear communication about the weather and a strong focus on safety, which meant a lot for our father-son trip. Once we got on the water, the action started fast with quality bites right away. When things slowed down, he kept us moving to new spots and consistently put us back on fish. He also stayed in touch with other local guides, sharing updates on where the bite was best, which made a big difference throughout the day. We ended up limiting out on redfish and catching plenty of throwbacks along the way. Most importantly, he made the trip special for my son, which made it even more meaningful for me.
